Founder Stefan Roodbol has spent the better part of 15 years in the renovations, construction and woodworking field.

During this time he noticed three main things.

One: Contractors are not always looking out for their clients needs and sometimes choosing to hide the scenarios that best suit the job for reasons of profit.

Two: The industry as a whole could better use old materials that are being sent to landfills without even thinking if there was or is some way to re-purpose them. Making things even slightly more sustainable would be a great step.

Three: Ultimately, budget constraints didn’t always mean that upgrades were not worth pursuing. That steps can be taken to better things over time and listening to what the needs are for the home can help to make the wants a reality soon enough.
